[Nelson Lake NP] St. Arnaud Range Track

Slept 2 nights in West Bay campground, which only cost $6 per night for cold shower, flush toilet, cooking shelter and amazing scenery. Love it and will definitely go back again to do the other walks.

Done the Bunner Peninsula Nature Walk and St. Arnaud Range Track together. Due to time limitation, I only hike until Parachute Rocks lookout, It really worth the hike, for 2.5 hours ascent.

Aerial view of Lake Rotoiti for the second time from different angle. The lake still amazing as it is.

Also learn about the unpredictable ridiculously rapid change of New Zealand weather. In an hour, the heavy rain over the lake become clear blur skies.

panorama view of Lake Rotoiti at 6pm.

panorama view of Lake Rotoiti at 7pm.

View from Kerr Bay. Mt Robert on the right, and St. Arnaud Range on the left.

Found a dead tree looks like deer

The Parachute Rocks

The top of the range. Looks like still a long way to go.

Spotted some cute mushroom in Brunner Peninsula Walk, maybe the rain get the mushroom growed.
